Here is our little host Chloe. Her mom has informed me that she has now taken her first official steps, all on her own. She has been a cruising chic for the last several weeks, so we knew it would be any day.
After Chloe's Party (Post Coming Soon) we had a play date on a "Tuesday" since it wasn't our norm, a lot of the regulars didn't get to come, so Chloe and holly had the playroom all to themselves. it was a nice change of pace, and Katherine and I really got to chat, which was nice.
The girls play really well together. here Holly has invented a new game where she puts all the shapes onto the shelf in the refrigerator. We don't have this one at home, so she plays with it a lot at Chloe's. Also since it was just the two of them, we got a chance to eat and try a whole bunch of new snacks.
Holly really enjoyed the Freeze Dried Mangoes, and we ended up stopping and getting some from Trader's Joe's for home. The other thing Holly really likes to do is push. So here she is figuring out a new lawn mower toy, the balls giggle and bounce and I think play music when you push it.
It was fun for Holly to explore a bunch of Chloe's new birthday toys, when there wasn't a large crowd. We had a great time, and it was a nice change of pace. In a few weeks we are hosting a play date at our place, and that will be fun.
