We ended up getting 3 pairs. They retail for about 15$ each. so the recouped the ticket price easily.
Holly didn't quite get the dancing thing in the traditional sense, as she doesn't bounce yet.
But in her own way she danced by shaking and waddling and going in circles and watching the other kids. Upstairs they had a bunch of hoola hoops.
She likes to watch them spin in a that cool edgy way around the rim making wave patterns..
with so many hoola hoops, you know the best one is the one someone else already has.
But Holly is good at taking turns. Mommy spun them for her and she tried too.
and eventually she found the best one of all, in purple, which I think is her favorite color.
What fun would the balcony be if you didn't spend some time looking down over the crowd?
Down below everyone danced and was having a great time.
We took a moment to appreciate the purple lights and watched how the room glowed.
And then we decided to add Fairy wings on, she really liked the scarves.
She liked having them flow behind her and she trotted about.
She isn't running yet, but boy she can be pretty fast when she has a destination in mind. And some babies really got into the spirit of it, dressed in there very own Disco outfits.
We had cool glow sticks, both for chewing and spinning.
and sometimes we just took a break to watch all the colorful lights.
It could be a tad over whelming at times, and when it was, Holly took her own little break.
she would walk into the hall and take a moment to explore and contemplate.
Sometimes instead of the dance floor we played int he back, there were couches.
