Tear Down The Wall

Another Fun playdate with Tyler and Caitlyn.  This week the wall's they built were color coordinated.  Caitlyn wants to join in on the fun so Holly rushes to help her knock down the wall before she doesn;t get the chance herself.  I'm not sure which is more fun for them, building or crashing.

Swim Lesson: Video

Prior to Holly's Swim lesson Holly and I arrived early and played together in the Kindergym.  We had a lot of fun building a really cool tower of soft blocks.  She did it all by herself.  Then she went crash.  Afterwards we went swimming, or at least Holly did.  They had this really neat balance board thing where she stretched out her arms and kicked.  Later she tried to climb on it like a surf board.  I got some video of her.

Crash

I guess the title gives it away, doesn't it :-) These are not great pictures but it was such a cute little sequence and I thought it showed just how fast this one moves around because in fact she simply didn't stay still for long enough for me to actually get a non blurry picture.  So much work but ahh the satisfaction when it all comes tumbling down!

What does the Kinect, a Wall and a Box Car having in Common?

They are all fun things to do when playing with Tyler.  On this playdate, while waiting for Emily (The ABA Therapist) to come over and join the fun the kids tried out some dance games on the XBox Connect. No - Holly didn't quite get it, but it was amusing to watch.  Later they marched in a band, had yummy snacks of Yogurt and banana's and when Emily came by together they all built a Wall of Giant Blocks, which is kind of tricky when you have King Caitlyn Kong there trying to knock it down.  Later they decided they wanted to "drive" in a box car and lucky Emily got to be the motor!  Oh joy and thank you for youthful energy, as if they asked me I would have redirected them to a less strenuous on my part game.
