Its so fun how varied our play dates with Chloe are. Some times there are 8-10 babies, other's it is a small intimate gathering.
On this particular day it was Chloe, Holly and Thatcher. Thatcher is pretty new to the group. His mom Felicia is a teacher and so now that it is summer time she is able to bring him to a lot more events.
Isn't he such a cutie. He is still a little guy, well he is big compared to Chloe and Holly, but he is just 10ish months old if I remember correctly.
He is just starting to pull up and cruise, and he is really enjoying pushing around the cart I think having the caret to give it some traction really helps. He was having a ball.
Here Holly is playing with her favorite toy of Chloe's. When you push the lever in air blows and bounces the balls, she loves sticking her arm in and reaching for the ball, she has even gotten herself stuck a few times, but of course Mommy was there to rescue her.
Doesn't it look like Thatcher and Chloe are dancing! In fact I think they are negotiating the shopping cart and Thatcher is using Chloe for support, but it still is so adorable.
Then of course once Holly was done analyzing the little lawn mower, her and Thatcher decided to scavenge through the groceries in the cart.
Even with just the three of them, they were busy, busy, busy. It was nice though to just chat with the three moms and have a good conversation when the kids were playing. I have really enjoyed these bonding times and learning new things about new people.
Its so funny how in such a big playroom with so much to do, they all seem to keep congregating around the same toys, they say kids only play in parallel, but I truly think they do play together, recognize each other, and are certainly intrigued in what the other is doing.
Of course, Holly is always able to get herself into trouble. Here she is climbing into the toy box, she has that look of "What? Didn't do it!"
