We recently had another play date with Issac and Miriam. Holly fell asleep on our way to there place and I was chatting on the phone with my mom in the car when we arrived, so I was sitting outside for a few minutes, but Miriam was so excitedly awaiting our arrival, she ran outside hoping to greet us at the car. She had impeccable timing because Holly just then opened her eyes and started to wake up from her nap.
My camera battery was dying so I didn't get a chance to take a lot of pictures while we were there. It's too bad we had such a fun time in there great playroom. Holly dumped out blocks, pushed carts, and played with Marylee's Instrument Music Pack. It had drums, triangles, shakers. She had so much fun with the music that Marylee pulled out her guitar and played a little and we sang songs to the kids. It was a lot of fun. After that they practiced going up and down the stairs a few times, it is so cool seeing Miriam being a big girl and old enough to do it on her own. Issac is learning to slide down on his belly, and Holly was scooting down face forward.
After all this, the kids simply could not be contained and wanted to head over to the "Duck Park" This is an awesome park between their house and the highway. There is an amazing play structure for older children on the far side of the park, but we didn't go to that one. Marylee says that even Miriam is too little to have any fun there, but boy it did look cool. So instead we played on the tot structure which had a really fun slide and a few platforms for the kids to climb up on. It was nice, and near the pond. Holly was intrigued with the ducks and went looking at them. there was another little girl who had some bread and was feeding them, she offered a piece to Holly, but when she saw the duck eat a chunk she kinda freaked out, so I picked her up and we went away back over to the playground area. She was really sleepy by now, which I am sure contributed. I gave the bread to Miriam who finished feeding the ducks and had a blast. A little bit later we headed home. We hope to play with them again soon.
