Playdate @ Araliya's

We always have fun with Alex and Araliya. They have a great playroom and such a welcoming home. Here is little Eliana playing with Holly in the playroom. She is just about three. She is a sweetie, and plays really well with the little ones. This is Araliya's great back yard. Holly had a blast playing with all of the kids, it was a lot of fun. We were pretty late showing up with traffic and the bridge being closed, but happy we made it.Holly had a lot of fun climbing up on the slide and going down. She also enjoyed climbing on the riding toys. There were a number of new moms there when I first arrived and it was fun to meet new people. Here is Elizabeth, Araliya, and Eliana playing. Those three are really good friends. The two younger ones are about 20 months old, just a few months older then Holly. The kids had a lot of fun playing with the chalk on the back yard drawing on the ground and the back screen it was messy and Holly liked dumping out the container more then anything. Here Eliana is riding on the little car. Holly isn't quite skilled enough to propel herself, its neat though watching the older kids to see what she will be up to next.Katherine and Chloe joined this same mom's group, so it was a blast to see Chloe out and about at someone else's house. She was the littlest there, just a few month younger then Holly. Both girls enjoyed playing with the chalk, but us mom's had to keep a close eye and make sure it didn't end up in their mouths. Here is holly carrying it around, it is of course like her little bucket, so it was swinging off her arm and she was so happy to take it everywhere. This is Elizabeth. She is so adorable and so sweet, but looks much older then she is. She is really tall for her age and actually only about 3 months older then Holly.Look at my little one picking up this huge ball. She is such a cutie, trying to pick things up that are almost as big as she is. It wasn't too heavy though. Here is Chloe standing at the screen door. At the time she was just learning about steps and she wanted to climb in and out of the house. She could go up pretty good, but needed help coming down.Eventually Holly found the car. Earlier in the day there were three little boys at the play date as well and they were playing in the car, so Holly waited until they went home to take a turn.Once she did, of course Chloe wanted to follow her in. It is really great that she is so comfortable with her that they were able to sit together and Holly didn't mind her crowding her personal space. This is our little host. Isn't she beautiful She just returned back home from an extended trip to Sri Lanka, we are happy to have her home safe and sound. I love her eyes in this picture and the way her bangs fall on her brow. When the boys were still here, Holly followed them around the back yard and they found a water table. Oh boy did she have a wonderful time, getting completely soaked. Actually it wasn't that bad at all. The boys played really nicely with the water and didn't dump any out on her, so it was mostly just from her own splashing, which she had a blast with.We had a great time. Its always nice to get out and have play dates at other people's houses, and Alex is an amazing host, we had margarita's and snacks and it was a wonderful afternoon.

I love those foamy looking alphabet squares on the floor, what a good idea. They do have a great play room, I like the bookcase a lot. Still scarey when Holly stands on the seat of those little cars, how do you not panic? Chalk is Sams favourite toy ever at the moment and he is very artistic, he draws people! Even puts hands and feet, the right colour for hair and everything. He is just 3 in December, we're impressed. Awwww! I really really love that picture of Holly biting her lip with her bucket of chalk, great t-shirt by the way. Araliya is very beautiful, gorgeous hair too. Oooh Margaritas, yum! Glad you had fun!
