After our play date with Chloe we stopped by Willard park. I was hoping to run into Sarah and Isabel who had called me earlier while we were at Chloe's but we missed them. It was about 6:15 and Holly still needed to run around some more before going home.
She made fast friends with this older girl playing in the sand. She was very patient with Holly's invasion of her game, but she never stays long enough to completely take over before she is off on her next adventure.
It wouldn't be a day at the park without spending endless time getting on and off the push cars. The day she learns that she can actually propel herself forward while sitting on one of these I will jump for joy.
Instead she is now experimenting with trying to stand on the seat. Not a fun experience for mommy, especially on a toy with wheels that can just slip out from under her as she climbs. I just have to keep reminding myself, if she falls she won;t break, and that is how she will learn (theoretically)

I really love that butterfly top, very cute. Second pic is such a great one, Holly looks so happy! I bet it is scarey watching Holly stand on the seat of those cars. Sam sits on his and won't go forward as he hates it. He prefers to sit backwards and then go backwards. Wierd.
