End of Year Fieldtrip to the Zoo

Holly's Preschool class took a field trip at the end of the year.  She was so excited.  It was to the Oakland Zoo, which we have been to before, but it was really fun going with her class.  Mommy chaperoned the trip.  Here we are in class in the morning waiting for the bus to arrive.  Holly wanted to sit with her best school friend Gio for the ride, so Mommy sat across the isle.  When we arrived we split into a few smaller groups.  There were several classes on the trip together.

Giraffes and Elephants were a highlight for Holly and her friends.  She especially liked the Meerkat exhibit as the kids could crawl into a long tunnel and get a close up view of the animals.  I think though Holly's favorite part of the day was playing in the water feature after lunch time.  She got so wet that she was down to her t-shirt and underwear instead of her dress which was too long not to splash while she was climbing around.  It was a super hot day so it was nice to get a refreshing break splashing and stepping in the cool water.

It was a great trip, we had a super fun time.
