Happy Easter!

Earlier this week Holly hosted a Easter Egg Hunt and Play date at our place for a few friends. Here is Sarah already getting into the spirit of things with this lovely pink hat! This is Holly's Easter Dress, I picked it up the day before, she has some other cute ones, but this one just caught my eye.I love it on her, she looks like a muse! Here the little rascal is having a cracker. The little monkey stole these right out of Isabel's bag, that's the problem with new skills, like learning to unzip.I love that she is starting to keep the bow in her hair, she looks so different when it is up like this versus down. Here is Mira, playing with Holly's Plex, It was an all girls day out.And Josette, another one of our Easter Buddies. Come to play and celebrate. She is such a sweetie! I just love all of her curls. This was our Easter Table set up. We had lots of props for photos and items for the Easter Basket and Egg Hunt. Here is Mira after she changed into her Easter Dress. The colors are so great on her, she looks like a little doll. Here is Tanta Kat helping Holly take a ride on the Horsey, Everyone took a turn. Here is little miss bunny ears, she put them on all by herself! And Chloe playing with the legos the last of our guests.I love this little headband on her, she looks like a flower fairy.I love Chloe's Easter dress, the bodice is fitted, and the skirt full it is simply adorable. Here is Mira taking her turn with the flower headband, she prefers it on backwards. But then a bit later she turned it right around. So all the girls started to take a turn, we got the loveliest Easter Photos of everyone. Then the morning warmed up and it was time to go outside and hunt some eggs. The girls loved running around in the warm sun and through the grass.Sarah looked like a Greek Goddess in her beautiful white dress, it was very becoming. Here is Chloe collecting some eggs of her own, she and Sarah were most into collecting eggs, and sort of got it.Holly was interested on occasion, she would collect a few, get distracted open them up, and run off. Both Sarah and Chloe, though they collected eggs, would accidentally dump them out and then find them all over again.Sarah's basket was so cute, and she was very determined to collect as many eggs as she could find.Doesn't she look fabulous in that dress, it was so fun to have all the girls dressed up in Easter outfits. Also note that Sarah has just had a new haircut. She looks quite fetching, is it very stylish. Here Mira is helping Holly collect a few eggs, in the back is Josette, who was much more interested in running and playing. It was so wonderful to Bunny Kat to head out to the park and set this all up for us, she really is the best Tanta ever! Here is little Mira with her basket. She would collect eggs and then run and plan, and then get lured back into the group.Holly was more interested in helping others collect eggs, she would fill there basket for them, or take an egg out to see what was inside.Chloe's mom had pre filled some eggs with little treats for the girls, but then forgot them. I think today we will fill some eggs with puffs or Chocolate chips and let Holly hunt for some around the house.I love this little felt bucket. I ended up not actually having a real wicker like basket for her at all.But she loves ducks, so I think the Cloth Bucket suits her perfectly. Here is my little bunny. Josette looks so lovely in the dress from Grandma, I like the colors on her a lot. Here is Mira teaching the other girls how to climb trees! She got up this high all on her own.Josette took a turn as well. Holly was more interested in running after doggies in the park. Here the girls are having a rest after collecting there eggs, we were working on getting a group shot. The hats and the ears and the bows all little props for the mommies to make our little girly girls look so cute. And remarkably, for a few moments we got them all to sit together in one place.Holly was so happy to have her friends over,s he loves to share her toys and play.In order to get the girls to stay together we sang to them all the different songs we knew.We started off counting all the way to 30, Holly knows when Mommy starts counting she is supposed to "wait" for something. So it got her to stay sitting for a little bit. and the other girls seemed to get it as well. For a moment or two! One by one like little rabbits they would hop off and we would try and corral them again. It was a lot of fun taking pictures of them all and playing in the park. It had been cold that morning. But by mid day the sun was out and the air was brisk, but not chilly. Here Holly is methotically going through all the eggs in Mira's basket to see if perhaps one might have something inside. She is very determined, and of course not detered by the fact that the last twenty she has opened were empty.I love Chloe's face in this one, she is giving me a little sideways glance. And Sarah with the ears is so sweet. Katherine and I were not sure about the dress before she put it on, because of her fair hair. But isabel was spot on with picking it out, her rosy cheeks and blonde locks matched perfectly to the tone. She looked amazing. Chloe and Holly had on very simular colors, witht he peach and purple tones in there dresses. These three matched really well. It was fun to have them wearing there little hats and playing dress up.It was a great morning. Before coming out to collect eggs we all had some snacks.Michelle Josettes mom brought yummy peanut better and yelly triangles for everyone to share.Mai, Mira's mom brought us delisious pastries, some filled with fruit, and holly and I had a Chocolate Crosont. And Katherine, Chloe's Mommy brought us some hard boiled eggs. i tried to feed one to Holly but she was having noe of it.She ended up having some yogurt, and Josette had her Tofu forlunch. It was a really fun playdate. And nice to get outside, just to run and play in the grass. Both Josette and Mira ran half way across the baseball field. I really like these little flowers on Holly's dress. I realize it is a little big (3t) but that just means she will get to wear it for a long time.Just before 1:30 things were beginning to wind down. Josette and Sarah were ready for there naps.So we started to think about cleaning up and heading back inside. In the end, it was 2:45 before Holly slept, she was so full of energy from having allof her friends over.Becasue of the late nap, we skipped our afternoon activities, she was tuckered out and slept three hours. Our girl was to have a fun Easter Photo shoot and I would say mission accomplished.Off all the Easter activities we had this week, I think this egg hunt for the 5 little ones was the most sucessful and fun for them.It was nice to chat with everyone, and it was just enough people to be on the edge of Chaos, but not be overwhelming.Which is exactly where we love to be. If there is no action, then we get too bored. It was great lighting to get some really nice shots of the girls close up.and before everyone left we of course had to get a group shot of Mommies and babies, and what better place to do it then with a giant Easter bunny.it was funny, before today, none of our friends had actually noticed our bunny, but I don;t think now they will ever forget it.

That looks like SO much fun! It is great sometimes having a small group. I love your pictures. My favorite is the whole group in front of the bunny bush!
