On Sunday of the same Pre New York Programming Contest weekend, Holly and I headed out to the San Leandro Aquatic Center. Joel was at home finish his game.
But we met up with Dave, Tracey, Lucian, and Richard Isabel and Sarah. We simply had to go, because we love this place and sadly Labor Day weekend was the last time it would be open for the season until next May.
David ended up not bringing a swim suit but instead he took some amazing pictures and had fun watching everyone. It was pretty windy out on this particular day.
Lucian didn't stay in the water for too long as he seemed a little cold and shivery, also they arrived later in the day. So he was quickly changed and warm again.
Sarah's parents brought some ducks and floaters for her to play with but then they were told that they couldn't bring them into the water, so we played with them near our picnic table. While having a snack.
We had a wonderful afternoon in the sun and water! I was sad Joel missed it, but since we have discovered a new indoor pool and water park, and I drug Joel there. He had a blast, and you will read about it soon.

I love the rubber duck raft! And it looks like Lucien is starting to be part of the gang with Holly and Sarah! What fun!
