So Much Stuff!

So my parents have hard ceramic tile floors and Holly is a little crawler clumsy goblin so we needed to find a suitable play space for her. The first day we were there Holly was basically in someone’s arms the entire time, or sitting playing on the counter while we were sitting around talking and playing with her.

So the next day we needed to find a place for her to play, Ceramic Tile is very hard. Actually much harder than the hard wood floors I have at home so I knew that a simple blanket on the floor was not going to work. It didn’t really provide any padding at all, so we took the mattress out from the convertible couch on the porch and put that on the floor. It worked and she had a lot of fun playing, but the problem was that it was sort of bouncy and she couldn’t move around on it very well, plus she also could fall of the ledge of it. It worked for the day, but we decided to get a play mat which she really liked and let her move around much better.

So Friday we ran some errands, Mommy got a nice and wonderful and relaxing 1 hour Massage, we shopped for the play mat and got home in time for a play date with Julie, George and George Logan.

The play mat was not easy to find. My mom saw it at toys-r-us on sale last week but they were out, so we had to then go to babies-r-us to find it but they were more expensive there, and since it was a friday late afternoon the traffic was really bad.

George Logan is 14 months old and Holly was so sleepy that she went down for a nap just a few minutes before they arrived. George Logan wanted to play with her and her toys but she was able to stay asleep through dinner for about an hour and woke up ready to go and play.

She just loved George Logan, she had the biggest smile and watched him walk around. I tried so hard but could not get a picture of the cutest thing. Holly was sitting and playing and George Logan ran up to her and gave her a huge hug. Then stood up and kneeled down and gave her a second one, she started to laugh and smile and was so excited. Later Julie was reading a book to him and Holly crawled over and tried to take it, then he took it back, and so she grabbed it again, and it was a little tug of war.

After we played for a while we went to Christmas lane in Dover. We had so much fun, here are a bunch of pictures from that.

We have been pretty busy already and I am so tired and we have a big day tomorrow, so I haven't been very descriptive, but I figure a picture is worth 1000 words so i am posting a bunch.

This is a Picture of Holly hanging out with Pyro my parent's dog. They are getting a new puppy in 6 weeks, so baby Holly should be good practice for him.

This is a cute little Papasan Chair my mom got for Holly from her friend's garage sale.. Doode.. Only 3$

On Thursday my Uncle and his family came to visit us. His wife and Daughter really loved Holly.

Here is a very sleepy Holly hanging out.

Here is Holly with one of her new toys. Normally you play with this on your back and kick it, but it is great to get Holly to extend her neck back and reach.
