Trick or Treat

So finally on Monday it was time to go Trick or Treating
I decided to dress Holly up in something she was super comfortable in
Last year she was super scared about Trick or treating and Cried
So I didn't want to let anything distract her
She was super excited about her Silvermist costume
When we went to Mira's house she was so excited to see her friends
Holly loved her Blue hair and her Black wings
Here is Brendan dressed up like a Transformer
But the classic costume had to have been Leelou as a Zombie Cinderella
Before Trick or Treating we had Yummy Pizza
and the kids all had some snacks
Baby Dylan was a super cute Pumpkin
Chloe dressed up like Ariel
I loved Mira's Skeleton pirate, the kids were all so cute
I thought Holly's blue hair was so adorable, and it matched mine
Before heading out for our treats we all took family pictures
Daddy decided he didn't want to be a Fairy too so he was a pirate
Leelou is with her witchy Momma
Here is Baby Evan and his Big brother
Here we have the two Babies together
I think Ron makes another great pirate
and Chloe's parents are Hawaiian vacationers
I mean, where else are you going to see a mermaid
So here we are heading out of the house
The Neighbors had a super scary house with spooky sounds and lights and fog
So we crossed the street to avoid it, that's where things went down hill last year
Holly did great. After two houses of saying, "Not the Scary one" she was off
She had the routine down pat. She went up to the houses on her own
She would knock on the door or ring the door bell
She would say, not that house the lights are off, next one
When the door opened she would say, Trick or treat, happy Halloween, Thank You
All at once, it was very cute
The kids were having such a good time.
The stairs were all a little scary, almost every house had them
and lots with no railing either
Holly's pumpkin was getting full and heavy fast
and she liked to swing it around, which meant flying candy
So we started to transfer her goodies into a bag mommy was holding
At first she said, no it's mine, but then she realized that it was heavy
and that I was saving it all for her, so she was ok with it
Emily and Kathy stayed home with the little babies
and for the most part we parent's stayed on the side walk
I was really proud of Holly and she was having such a blast
She also was getting a ton of candy too
We did let her have her pacifier to help stave the anxiety
It was fun seeing all the decorated houses
It was a great night for our little fairy
Daddy had so much fun too, we were amazed at how into the routine she was
When we got back to the house the kids all had some more snacks
We even had some yummy cup cakes
We had a wonderful evening!
