A Train Ride with Opa

While my dad was visiting we took him to the Tilden Trains for an afternoon rideThe trains are little steam engines once used for logging in the areaNow they are a beautiful 17 minute ride through Tilden parkThe perfect amount of time for a toddler to stay interestedHolly so adorable knows how Opa loves trains and talks about them all the timeShe had a wonderful time on the train ride and talks about "Thomas the Train" all the timeIt was a beautiful day, cool but not cold, clear but not too Sunny. It was neat to see the old track and the wooden bridgesThe trees were also beautifulIn addition to these trains there is a smalled one with just room for a child to sit alone single fileThis was a turn about for its various cars, on the weekends a club comes to work on them and the groundsHere is Opa and Tanta Kat enjoying the wonderful afternoonI love the way that the sun flows through the trees shining upon this engineOn the way home there was an amazing view of Berkeley and the bay belowHolly was worn from the afternoon sun and hid on her way home with Blankie
