On Wednesday Afternoon we go to a Developmental PlaygroupIt is a wonderful little program in Alameda at the Parks and Recreation CenterFunded by California First Five. The program is 90 minutes and run very much like Small Voices wasLike a Mini-Preschool with various developmental activities and stations set upAnd art project each week and a theme where all the games are focusedThere is also circle time and snackOur friends Nathan and Tyler are in the program with us, and we are making new friends tooHolly gets to paint and use glue and do puzzles and tons of sensory activitiesThe center has a ton of different toys which Holly loves to rummage through and even a dress up areaHere she is with Oma washing hands after painting.I think she had a lot of fun showing Oma around and having her play the games with her. Here is a nature station and Holly is listening for the Ocean in a sea shellAt the end we have parachute Time and sing some songsHolly loves to ride around in circles as we sing Ring Around the RoseyAnd then we go underneath to sing London BridgeWe always have a wonderful time it has been a really great program and a welcome part of our mid week activities.

That looks like a really great program! The parachute thing looks like a lot of fun, and it helps them focus and circle up I think. I'm sure Oma had a wonderful time! love, Granny
