Exploratorium

This is the Exploratorium in San FranciscoA while back I took Holly on a Wednesday Afternoon when it was free to get in.I wasn't sure how much she would get out of it, but she loved itEven if she was not understanding the science behind everythingThere was still a lot for her to explore and interact withAnd she learned how things workedPlus it was just a ton of fun tooThere were wave pools with waterThis one was like a Cyclone with steamThis Sand was really neat there were vibrations and patternsThis was a disk spinning with sand making more patternsHolly I think liked that she could touch everythingShe could bang and make noises And simply run around and get into everythingThe bubble table was super coolOh and these laser lights were a lot of funHolly played with those for a long time there were mirrors that the light bounced off of.This was another one she really likedThere was a shoot and some marbles and they would jump through hoopsShe watched the marbles roll over and overShe liked all of the lightsAnd all of the soundsThere were instruments to play tooThis was another really cool exhibit with magnetsFirst we built bridges and then we tore them downThis was a swinging pendulum that was neat to watchHolly also loved this display Drums of courseI was amazed she would wear the headphones, but she wanted to hear her own drumming so of courseIt was a wonderful day out in the city, and exhausted Holly napped as we drove through the city towards home
