Pretty in Pink

I can't believe it has been almost a week since I last posted. It has been along week recovering from Oma and Opa's visit. We are getting back to our routine now and looking forward to the Holiday weekend. These are pictures from a playdate with Chloe taken while Joel was doing Ludem DareI can't believe it's been 4 months, in Fact just a week or so ago Joel did it again. Its a contest where he spends 48 hours writing a computer game. These games have been a wonderful source of material for his iPhone games. On this day, I let Holly pick out her own cloths and she wanted to wear this tutu. The weather wasn't the warmest, so I had her put on some tights, but she was fine.it was a weekend playdate with Chloe called Merienda, a pot luck with the daddies on the weekend. Here the girls are playing with Chloe's kitchen toys, stirring up some grapes. There were other kids there, and they were playing with them, but they play with each other a lot too.Like two peas in a pod, especially now, teaching each other good and bad habits. My dad was watching them, and Joked about them being in High School together. They were being two little bell weathers, doing there own thing and all the other kids followed along. He joked it could be the two of them at prom, they look so grown up sometimes and they really do scheme. Here is Holly hiding out in Chloe's toy chest, silly girls hiding out wherever they can. This is Angelina, she is getting so big, already she is walking around it is amazing. And now it is time to take a juice break. Yum Yum. Hydration is key when the girls are so active.I just can;t get over how cute she is in this tutu. She really likes pink.Other then "Boo" its the second color she has said. Though now she says many."Geen, ack, ink, boo, purple, ello, arch, ite" She knows them all, says them all, except red. She says something for red, but I don't understand it.Jere is Sara, the missing Musketeer! She is so exuberant and fun to play with. Its a great dynamic when they all three get together. Surprisingly no one gets left out and there are almost no fights. Here is Tyler, hanging out with the girls. It is lovely to see him.Holly is so sweet with the littler kids, with over a year in age difference, this is a "baby" and she is being "Gentle"I love that Katherine has this play structure inside the house. It is so good for them. Its really nice to have the slide, but more so something to climb on.They even like to hide under it too, if only I had the room, I would have one too.Since Daddy was working on his project we stayed super late and decided to do a bath and play till bed time. The girls love taking a bath together, the Bubbles were new, Holly was very brave.Pajama's on and ready for bed, two tired girls play for a few last minutes.
