Mira's Birthday - 6/4

Here we are at an impromptu Birthday Party for Mira! We were very excited to be invited.Mira has an amazing play space and a wonderful backyard and porch.Holly was quick to find the water table and get down to business. She was soaked in minutes and before long needed a change of cloths, luckily I had something with me.She really likes water a lot and will always play with it when given the opportunity. We just recently set up a water table for her in the back yard and need to try it out soon. You can see here how wet her dress is and the weather was not warm that day.We we are on to our next outfit and she is playing with the girls, looking for bubbles.Chloe, LeeLou, Kaylee and Brendan were all in attendance. Holly had lots of fun in the yard. Before we realized it cake time was upon us. The cakes were ever so good. Here the girls are patiently awaiting there piece of cake, even though Holly is not a fan, she suspects something good is on the way.Mira gets to blow out her candles, such a big girl, she actually did it.She liked watching the flame and being the center of attention and everyone was snapping away pictures.Yum Yum, thinks Holly, that looks like something I want to reach over and grab. The kids were really patient with us parent's I mean really, who has time to sing and take pictures when you are hungry!Brendan decided to give Mira a hand, since she was Two, she got TWO cakes! If I recall correctly one was a vanilla with mango filling and the other a chocolate fudge type.It was quite the treat, there was even ice cream for everyone which is what the girls had first.I tried giving Holly a bite of the cake, I think she tried a little of each. But in the end she was happy to have "More" Ice Cream! Here the Birthday girl is striking a pose, isn't she darling!and boy did she like the cake, I think she actually gobbled down both of her slices. After cake it was back outside for some more playtime. The backyard had lots of neat things to do. here the girls are fawning over the Nemo Bubble machine. There was a bucket Swing which Holly took several turns in, and didn't like waiting for.She of course went back to the water table, but Mai dumped it out for me, so I wouldn't have to change her again. She still had a lot of fun, hoping and wishing for water and playing with all of the supplies. There was also a sand box which was a lot of fun, and it was smart to not have the sand and water close together.Back inside to play some more, in Mira's room. She had some great toys.It is always neat to explore the toys and play space of our friends.I always like seeing how the rooms are set up and what kids of toys the kids have at home.We always find new and different things to play with. It was a great afternoon, and we were so happy to share Mira's Birthday with her.
