Franklin Park With Daddy

We had a lot of fun taking Holly to Franklin Park in Alameda with DaddyIt was a cool day which was nice, I like the summer but parks get so hot. This park is a lot of fun, there is climbing and swinging and sand to play in.There are two slides for her to go down, but one is too tall and twisty. She hasn't went down it herself yet, it is a bit scary. The other shorter one she has.Holly also likes to play in the sand box, she is really into shoveling and pouring sand now. Here she is saying hello to one of the babies at the playdate. She says Baby now each time she sees one. This climber is really good for her because there is a bared ladder for her to use on the side. Also a curved climbing wall and then also some stairs and a platform. Here is the Chain ladder thing. She is getting really good at climbing up it now.She would do it over and over, up the ladder down the platform stairs, she skipped the slide most times.I think this day might have been one of the first times she was actually able to climb up it.Here she is waiting to take a turn on the swing, she was unhappy because they were all takenShe waits patiently, I try and get her to play some more but she just wants a mommy hug instead. Then YEA! She got her turn on the swing, I think she spends more time on it at the park then anywhere else.It kind of defeats the purpose when we are taking her to the park to tire her out.I love her face when she is so happy and excited in the swing. She especially loves it when Daddy pushes her she asks for more and more. Here is Elizabeth and her new baby sister out and about visiting the park too.You can see the two slides here, and now you understand why Holly hasn't gone down the twisty one yet.We had a fun day, I love her cute little outfit, I think the blue is a really good color on her.We still get nervous when Holly is near the edge, she sometimes forgets to pay attention to what she is doing. She hasn't had any big falls yet, but we are vigilant, to be sure she stays safe but is able to push her abilities and experiment with new things.

How cute she is with the pink bow in her hair! I must print a picture of the big smile on the swing! Glad to hear she likes babies!
