Princess Lunch (Video's)

Here is Ariel's grotto, on California's great boardwalkAs soon as we came in we changed and the girls got ready to meet ArielShe was greeting each guest before we sat down at our table. The grotto was much more formal then the breakfast from the previous day.We had an assigned seat and only a short time allowed to visit with Ariel as other guests were waitingBut the girls were each able to give her a hug and have there books signedThe were also able to watch her for a long time, and sometimes just seeing the princess if half the fun.Holly is so cute when she gives hugs, she for some reason always bends half over. Our table was outside, I was worried about the heat but there was a breeze from the waterIn only moments the first of the Royal princesses were announced and we met AuroraOr Sleeping Beauty as she is sometimes called. Holly was so excited! She told her she saw her in the parade the day before and gave her the book to signChloe was a little Awe Struck too at first, We just watched the movie for the first time this week and learned another alias is Briar Rose. She was so friendly and personable, the film is a classic and so beautifully doneSleeping beauty spent a lot of time with us, so we could get lots of picturesHolly was totally admiring her gown, and told her she was wearing Rapunzel's gown.We were not going to meet her at lunch so she would have a unique dressBefore too long they announced Cinderella and she was upon us.She was very elegant and Holly was very taken with her.The girls were all giggle and smiles from ear to earI think Cinderella was asking Holly some questions and she kept making her "hmmm" faceWhen she is put on the spot she just giggles, I guess she was speechlessThe food was actually really good, I thought. We started with a try of three appetizer plattersFruit, yummy watermelon and strawberries, fresh cheese and yummy saladreally good dinner rolls, and delicious Pomegranate lemonadeNext the lovely Belle was Announced and she was upon us. Her gown was gorgeousHolly gave her the Autograph book straight away. Its a shock we got the girls to eat lunch at all.Just look at that smile as she holds Belle's hand and looks up at herIt is so precious. Mommy and daddy were trying to eat our main courseI had a really yummy tomato, Cheesy, Pasta with spicy sausage I liked it a lot.I forgot what Joel had, he enjoyed it but it was not his favorite. On the other hand, Belle I think was Chloe's favorite, in her matching dress she was adorableHere is Holly again, Awestruck. It has been two weeks now and she still every day talks about meeting all the PrincessesShe has also since watched the whole movie through, and asked Belle where Beast was (whom she likes better then the prince)Finally it was Snow White. Holly seems to be really into her, likes its in her blood or something. She didn't know the story or the seven dwarfs, however a few days ago we watched the film for the first time, she sat through the entire thing and loved it.It's hard to balance the princesses, pictures, and a toddler so I almost forgot to take video. But just in time for the final princess I remembered. Here is Holly having Snow White sign her book:

Next the girls posed and took pictures with Snow White.

I just can't get over there smiles, a picture says a thousand words, they were so super happy.I love how Holly looks up at all of the princesses, straight in the eyesAfter we took photo's the girls each got to give her a hug too.I have one last video of that here:

The experience was sort of exhausting, to meet one princess after another, it takes a lot out of you emotionally. Finally they served us a delicious desert. The girls were a little antsy and wanted to explore the patio and look at the waterThen our time was over and we headed out. It was definately worth the money to meet all five princessesIt will be wonderful memories for years to come.
