Trick or Treating @ Mira's House

I know this was a while ago but I am not sure if I ever wrote about HalloweenWe were invited to go Trick or Treating at Mira's house.Holly was a little princess, and I was the Queen. Joel the jester. Here is Holly's Friend Leelou dressed up as Snow WhiteOutside were some very spooky Jack-o'LanternsAnd some not so spooky ones1Chloe was also dressed up as a princessI love this dress on Holly it is so adorable! Here are the girls giving each other a big hug. They had fun answering the door and giving out candyWe all ate some pizza and chatted and the kids all found some LollipopsThe plan was to go Trick Or Treating around the neighborhood. At first Holly was really excited about the prospect of this and eager to go outside. Here are the Daddies with there little Princesses, and a Ladybug.I have to admit I think Eric's Tiara Princess costume just rocks!Mira and her family look quite distinguished in Black and Red.Here are all of the mommies with there little goblins.Once we went out the first house we arrived at was very scary. Holly was started and had a complete meltdown. She wanted to continue trick or treating but she had to have Mommy hold her and was very anxious at each upcoming house. She new the routine, and would say "Knock, Knock" and watched her friends do it. But she cried at each house. We asked her if she wanted to go home but she did not. We ended up powering through and made it to about half the houses.By the end she was able to almost do it on her own with no tears. After about an hour we headed back to Mira's house and Holly wanted to get out of her costume. I think she was simply overwhelmed by everything.Once she was changed and happy to be back, she started to play and we continued our lovely evening. We will definitely take her again next year, though maybe before it gets too dark and scary out. it is a process with many new challenges, be we get through them and grow with each one.We had a very Happy Halloween!
