Happy Birthday Holly, You are Three Today!

My how fast the year has gone by. I still remember your Birthday Party at Studio Grow last year like it was just weeks ago. Here you are playing there just last week and you have grown up and changed so much. Some of the stuff is obvious, like how long your hair has grown.Other stuff not so much. Last year you were not talking, now you speak in short sentencesNow not only are you doing art projects but you are making up new games and learning from things you have seen before. Here you rolled up paper to make a telescope, and there you decided to wear a cape and are playing "Super Bunny" a game you made up on your own after watching Max and RubyAnother new game is Hide and Seek. You can count to 10, sometimes 20 with help and while you can't sing your ABC's you know each letter by sight. You are climbing so much more which is even harder to believe, but now you are making swings where there are none and hanging upside down. Each morning you pick your own cloths, so even if it is cold outside and not quite spring you insist on wearing sleeveless dresses, they are your favorite. Mommy picks and chooses your battles and since this makes you Happy, why not.Last year you needed help riding this roller coaster, now you can climb up and even push off on your own. After your ride you can push the car back lining it up on your own. When there are other kids around you want to race and will shout, 1,2,3, Go! You love kids. You have always, but you now especially love kids just a little bit older you like to follow them around copying everything they do.You are playing dress-up and imaginative games, feeding baby dolls, making fruit salad for mommy and backing pretend brownies. You ask about your friends, therapists, and family members when they are not near. You are still joyful, enthusiastic, full of life and excitement traits I hope will never change. You like routines and go to pre-preschool three times a week on your own for two hours a day, without mommy. You adapt and figure things out, like how this rope hurts your arms, so you get a jacket to protect them. You have plans, and schemes, you move chairs and steps to help you reach higher and nothing is out of reach or safe anymore. You are curious, working hard to figure out new games, and puzzles, always excited to challenge yourself, sometimes you get frustrated, but you can tell me, Mommy all done, and Bye Bye, and No More. You can also tell me what you do want to do and where you want to go.
You have so many idea's of your own now. You are precocious and full of mischief which I can't help but smile at. I love you with all my heart. You are growing up too fast, everyday you learn something new. You are no longer a toddler, you are my little preschooler, you are such a big girl. I am so proud of you. Happy Birthday Holly!
