Madelyn's Birthday Party - 9/11/10

Happy Birthday MadelynYou are so adorable and we had so much fun at your partyOriginally the party was scheduled weeks earlierWeeks before Madelyn's actual birthday because her Mommy was pregnantHaving some foresight she decided to have the party before the due date,The morning of the original party Mommy went into labor two weeks earlyWelcome little brother Benjamin!So about 6 weeks later the dust settles and we are back to a party for Madelyn!Look at the big sister! She is all grown up now.The party was at Tilden near the trainsFirst we met in the little park across the wayWe had some snacks and then sang some train songsAnd then read a train storyIt was a lot of fun. Holly likes exploring the woods and climbing treesLater we walked over to the stationHere is the train as it arrivedLook at this face little miss Holly is making. She knows she is being naughtyCan you imagine we were able to get a whole group of the toddlers to pose for a pictureBefore riding the train everyone got little gift bagsInside were cool train whistles and these awesome handkerchiefsHolly is so very adorable wearing itHere we are on the trainIt was about a 17 minute ride. We had a snack along the wayThis is the engine, the train is miniatureIt was a beautiful trip along the way we saw many really neat thingsIt was our first visit to the Tilden trains Here is baby Benjamin taking a little nap and restingHere is Holly climbing up in a treeShe loves playing with BalloonsShe was really enjoying being up high in the tree too.This party was just a few weeks after my parent's last visitOpa loves trains and we did a lot of train activities so the timing was greatHere is the Birthday Cake. See though little train cakes on top.Amazing mom! Home made cake just weeks after bringing home a new baby!Remarkable. Holly was very into trains at this time too because of Opa and had so much fun.Madelyn blew out all of her candles, she is such a champAnd all of the kids were eager to munch up their cakeHolly of course went right for the frosting as she always doesMadelyn was quite a fan of the frosting too. What a perfect cake face@We had a lovely time on a beautiful fall afternoonWe love spending time with Madelyn and her familyand we are so glad to have been included in her Birthday Celebration,
