Tra La La La!

Here we are at Wednesday Library Music Time. Hanging out with Sarah and Chloe. We always have such a great time, but it is also usually a mixed bag.Scheduled just after nap time, sometimes the girls are hungry and snack most of the sessionOther times sleepy and sit in our laps quietly listening to our facilitator's songs.Usually though they are running around and playing with the instruments causing a ruckusNathan often joins us in class which is a delight, but I rarely get a chance to actually chat with him or his mom.Our teacher is a hoot, she sings these Jolly old folk tunes and is so animated and lively. The girls just adore her, they love the guitar and the singing and dancing and shaking. We have such fun at the library, and even if the girls don't always pay attention I think they enjoy the music in the background. We sing a lot of neat songs they might not be exposed to otherwise, and the teacher works hard to engage everyone.I love this cheesy little grin, she is such a cutie when she gets excited about something. Here is Nathan exploring one of the instruments, his development has come along so much he is walking on his own now.On this particular day Chloe had just woken up from a nap in the car so she was snacking and snuggling up with mommy.Sarah naps much earlier so she is always raring to go, so exuberant and really likes to dance.Holly is a mix. Here she is taking the basket around to try and collect all of the shakers from the other kids.Sometimes she takes away their tambourines from them, to "clean up" thankfully none of the other kids get too upset about it.One of the funnest parts is that the teacher lets them play with the guitar which they love to do.After we often go into the library to play for a while, look at the books and play with the computers, its always a lot of fun.

THat is so good for Holly, making music and going to the library a regular part of her life! And fun too!
