The Lorax Movie

Holly and I went on a date to see the Lorax about a week ago. We went after school and it was on a Friday but the film had been out a few weeks already so it wasn't that crowded. We bought tickets got to ride the escalator up to the top to the theater. Holly wanted to hand the tickets to the teller herself. We got a small popcorn and a drink for Mommy and headed into our seats. The first set of seats we sat in were the seats normally reserved for wheel chairs right in the front of the bar so that Holly had lots of space in front of her if she got wiggly. We watched about 1/2 the movie from there. Holly was very interested and a few times asked "Where is the Lorax" or shouted with Glee, "Look Mommy its the Lorax" but it was mostly families with kids and no one too close around us. As with all movies there is a lull in the middle where she gets a little board and she wanted to explore so she went to the first row of the theater. Then she came back and told me to come sit with her. It was actually not bad seats and I could still see OK so I moved our stuff down and we finished the movie there. At about 3/4 of the way through she moved to the floor in front of me with her princesses and they all watched together and made a mess of the pop corn. But she enjoyed it a lot. A week later when her Oma was visiting she asked "Who is the Lorax" and Holly responded, "He Speaks for the trees" I said, "what happens when all the trees are gone" and she said "You plant a seed with soil and water" so I think she even kinda got it.
