Holly opening present, here Daddy gets some Star War Cookie Cutters
Look at that wild morning hair, she totally takes after her Daddy in that regard
She plays her new drum set here, now we keep the drum sticks on the book shelf
But I let her have them almost any time she asks for them
Her Doll house is in her bedroom, she does play with it, but she is still learning
She is totally into dress-up now, this is one of her favorite dress-up dresses
Here Mommy helps her try it on
But it just a few short months she has become quite proficient in putting it on herself
And taking it off as well :-)
Its so fun to watch her open her presents too, she does it with such relish
She got some paints and brushes and container's as well
Another item she insisted on trying out immediately
She certainly made a mess of it, but she had so much fun.
That's one of the good things about having a quiet Christmas at home this past year
We spent most of the morning and afternoon opening presents slowly
Playing with each as much or as little as we wanted, it was a lot of fun
And of course there was the heart waffles with strawberries, delicious!

Christmas at home is the best at this age! The grandparents can come to you! It will be that time of year again so soon! Love, Granny
