In the Bug's life land there were two little water parks
One had water that spurted and splashed from various spouts
You never knew where it would come from next
and it was a surprise if it squirted you
Holly ran around and around in anticipation
It was a really hot day, the worst of the trip
So we brought bathing suits for the girls to change into
Holly was so excited to have a chance to cool off
Holly was in Princesses
But she certainly admired Chloe's Ariel suit too.
The ground was pretty hot where it wasn't covered in water
But Holly doesn't like for her shoes to get wet
Or really for her feet to be in the wet shoes
So she kept trying to take them off.
However earlier a park attendant made us put them back on her
and said she had to wear them.
This was making her pretty grumpy.
When we first arrived Mommy was so hot that I waited for a spurt
and just in time leaned over and stuck my head in the water
Once I was soaked and tied my hair up
and I was totally cooled off, it was very refreshing
Next we went around the corner to the other water feature
It had a large Pillar with water falling down on it. other area's it was like rain
Here it was a little more secluded so I let Holly take her shoes off again
I figured worst case they could just tell us to put them on again.
This made her really happy. But I think her foot was bothering her.
She may have gotten a little blister or perhaps they were just hot and achy
But she was a little off and uncomfortable.
Chloe was ready to have a snack but it was a few minutes till we needed to head to our princess lunch
We decided to let the girls walk over in their bathing suits and then change them on arrival to their princess dresses
The park was really pretty, this is bear mountain and there were lots of local landscapes
Holly was having the best time and eager to go to Ariel's house.

A water park is a really great idea for a theme park! Restful after all the rides! Just when I get used to Holly's Yo Gabba fashions...it changes to Princess Wear! Hard for Grannys to keep up! love, Granny
