Here little Miss Kitty Ears is scootering along
We are at the Skate park in Oakland and though we brought her tricycle
She found this Princess Scooter and fell in love.
At the time of this event she didn't have a scooter at home
But she was learning to ride one with PT Sara at school
We have since got her a princess Scooter for home, though a little different from this one.
The other thing that she really super loved was the skateboard
Here is my little Skater girl, it won't be long before she is breaking hearts
And at this rate, maybe bones too. She so wanted to ride it
But it is really hard to do. Even just sitting on it it flew out from under her
She fell on her bottom and wasn't very happy.
She took a little break to play some basketball with Daddy
One of the reasons this event is so cool is all the bikes, Scooters, and other things you can ride
Its also fun to ride with a bunch of other kids, and in a large enclosed environment.
The event is sponsored by Youth Uprising and Lotus Bloom and hosted by our friend Stephanie
Who calls it, "Bounce, Rock, Skate, and Roll" She also teaches one of our Music Classes.
They usually have it the first Saturday of the month, the next one is August 6th.

That's a great way to try out different things too, and buy the one that works for you! looks like a great park.
