After we went our separate ways we walked through the "Golden State" land to head back to the hotel. It was really beautiful
It was mostly shady, lots of trees, and there was even a "Hiking Ride" But the main one was the River Rapids.
I'm sure Holly would have loved it but you have to be 40 inches to ride it, so it is one we will have to save for our next visit.
We discovered this little viewing area where the ride made a big splash and Holly just had to go and investigate.
She really wanted to run right over to the other kids but she didn't want any of her cloths to get wet, once I let her take her shirt off she went right to the splash zone.
Once we got back to the hotel, even though we had cooled down Holly really wanted to swim again. She didn't seem particularly tired so we headed to the pool
We had some ice cream from Cold Stone next door and Holly had some "cold" yogurt to snack on. We rested but didn't take a nap, and soon went back to the park.
It was our last day and we wanted to make the most of it. Chloe had spent the entire day at the park as they went to the Aladdin show and then headed back to Disneyland to do a little shopping
We did a few more rides while waiting to meet back up with Chloe, and saved a place to watch the evening light show called "World of Color"
California Adventure was a fun park. There was a lot we did not see, but we did get to do everything for Holly's size/age range. It will be fun to go again in a few years when Holly is taller and can do the big kid rides.
