We went on a field trip with one of our special needs playgroups. It was the last meeting of the session. It was a lot of fun, but with a group like that it was really hard to stay together. Holly especially wanted to run around.
We were really hoping to sign up for another session with the group, it was a lot of fun and Holly got a lot out of it. However this year the program lost its funding.
It was receiving a grant through California First Five, which due to California State budget Cuts has itself reduced funding. So it did not receive it's renewal grant. We will be sad to not have another chance to be in this program, it is so good for kids.

Economic cuts hit the children and special needs population...NOT big business! It's just not right. That fairy land looks like so much fun! love, Granny
