Miriam and Isaac

Miriam is such a grown up. She just turned three not to long ago. It is amazing seeing how fast she is growing up. She is so sweet with Holly, but her Mom reports she doesn't always share her toys so well.We recently went to play with Isaac and Miriam. I wanted to be sure Kat had an opportunity to meet all of our friends. We had a lot of fun. They have such a cool playroom and Holly loves following Miriam around.Marylee said that Miriam is used to being one of the younger kids, so it was fun for her to be the "Big" kid for once. She got to show the little guys how to do things, and was in charge.I think she may have taught Holly to do this, as she is always putting things on her head and wearing them like hats now. This is Miriam's little shopping basket. I think it looks quite fashionable.She was also making phone calls which is another game Holly likes to do. I think its so fun to have Holly watch and learn from the older kids. Sometimes she learns things like climbing, but other its fun make believe games.Here she is pushing around a little stroller. She really enjoys pushing things. She likes carts and strollers the best and when she sees a real baby in the stroller she runs to help them escape.There house is so nice because there is so much space for the kids to run around in. Besides the playroom the living room next door had a tent and tunnel and secret playhouse set up. The kids had a blast with that.Here Kat and Miriam are playing toss. Kat gets the ball into the peep hole and Miriam retrieves it and tosses it back. Holly is watching intently trying to figure out how she can get in on the fun.She made her way through the tunnel and popped up "peek-a-boo" I was very excited as I am not always able to coax her through the tunnel, but she had motivation to reach the other kids inside.Once there, it was all about them having a secret play house, no grown ups allowed. They kept trying to cover the top so we could not see inside. It was so funny.Isaac likes to climb into the whole directly he literally tries to tumble right in from the outside and diving through the center. It was funny watching him try, he kept squishing the tent. Eventually Tanta Kat infiltrated the secret club house and Holly was captured. She was then smothered with 100 kisses! Isaac is looking so grown up these days too. Joel said he came to visit him at the office the other day and he was munching down a whole hotdog and bun, he looked way more grown up then he should have. It was impressive.In the end however, the kids (Holly0 wanted to spend the afternoon scaling Mount Everest (The Stairs) and Bigfoot (Tanta Kat) had to keep guard. They were distracted with Ball and toys momentarily, but the fixation grew, and before we knew it, it was after six and time to go home. We had a lot of fun.
