Hopkins

Here is Holly during her last week of School at HopkinsThis is her friend Joey and one of the aides Miss AdoniaHer friend Malaki playing blocksTowards the end we were really enjoying the Hopkins class, the new teacher Miss Ginger was awesomeHolly loved all of her friends and enjoyed going to school every day.But at the end of the school year she would be changing classrooms, teachers, even schoolSo I wanted to take some pictures to remember her first class.This is the school bus, almost every day from March to June Holly asked to ride it.From Hopkins the ride was too long, but during the last week of summer school, from her new class at Franklin, she got to ride the bus.This is Jason, and Carlos was above.This is Adrianna and Ahijah with Miss Ginger her teacher for the last month she was at HopkinsAhijah lives around the corner from us and it was Holly's best friend from school.She is going to Kindergarten next year so we haven't seen her, but I hope to have a play date soon.This is Janelle the new Speech Therapist, Holly had someone different over the summer and will have another new one in the fall

But she is doing really well. Here she is playing in the yard with some water

This is Miss Sieda the second aide in the class. Holly loved her two aides and misses them a lot.

Miss Adonia was instrumental in helping her transition to school and helped comfort her when she would get upset if I wasn't there

She has grown so much over the last few months, so much of it I think has to do with being in school.

The teacher's and kids all really love her, she was the baby of the class, almost everyone there was going off to Kindergarten, but most were at least a year older who weren't

Here is Holly out in the yard playing on the Scooter. PT Sara taught her how to ride it.

There is a great playground at Hopkins, but the one at Franklin is nice too

In the end we were sad to leave Hopkins but overall I am happy with her new placement in Franklin.
