This is the Exploratorium in San Francisco

A while back I took Holly on a Wednesday Afternoon when it was free to get in.

I wasn't sure how much she would get out of it, but she loved it

Even if she was not understanding the science behind everything

There was still a lot for her to explore and interact with

And she learned how things worked

Plus it was just a ton of fun too

There were wave pools with water

This one was like a Cyclone with steam

This Sand was really neat there were vibrations and patterns

This was a disk spinning with sand making more patterns

Holly I think liked that she could touch everything

She could bang and make noises

And simply run around and get into everything

The bubble table was super cool

Oh and these laser lights were a lot of fun

Holly played with those for a long time there were mirrors that the light bounced off of.

This was another one she really liked

There was a shoot and some marbles and they would jump through hoops

She watched the marbles roll over and over

She liked all of the lights

And all of the sounds

There were instruments to play too

This was another really cool exhibit with magnets

First we built bridges and then we tore them down

This was a swinging pendulum that was neat to watch

Holly also loved this display Drums of course

I was amazed she would wear the headphones, but she wanted to hear her own drumming so of course

It was a wonderful day out in the city, and exhausted Holly napped as we drove through the city towards home
