Well it seems her left ear has cleared up but not her right, so they had to give her the very painful antibiotic shot. This goes into the muscle and since it is 2 cc's it was too much to give her all in one place, they gave her a shot on either side. She screamed and cried and they were worried she might have an allergic reaction so we had to stay and wait 15 minutes. She cried the entire time. She had two yogurt juices and cried more and more, then screamed the entire time in the car, then Kat had a bottle waiting for her and we went right to bed, that took another 20 minutes at least of crying and whimpering until she finally fell asleep... Poor Baby!
We are off to see the ENT next to see if he agrees that she needs tubes and our pediatrician is coming with us to Davis next week, so she will check Holly's ears again then to make sure it is finally cleared up.

We had to get those shots, too. We had one in the hospital once followed by liquid antibiotics and then we had a series of three shots in the regular doctor's office for three days in a row. I remember sitting a waiting each day. BLECH! Tubes do help tremendously, though, so do consider it.
That MUST"VE been a pre-shot picture, because she looks so adorable and happy! I hope the shots do the trick! She's had so many ear infections, it'll be great to not have that hassle.
