Holly's Birthday fell on a Thursday this year. We had a small little celebration at home that night with the family.
For her Birthday night Holly had Birthday Cookies, just like little bear. She loves cookies and was excited to eat them.
She tried to grab the candle flame, she liked it, a pyro lover like her Opa, but we helped blow it out for her.
We had a huge party the weekend after her birthday, so this was just a little intimate event to acknowledge the actual day of her birth.
Tanta kat came to hang out with her, so she got to open some presents. She was very excited about this.
In the background you can see she has a training potty, this was from her Tanta, we have not begun Potty training, but when we do we will be prepared!
She also got some coloring books and a really cool Puzzle. Also she got a case for her leapfrog pen and books, which was nice.
This however was her big gift, an iPod touch! She uses mommy's phone so much that mommy never gets to use it, so now she has her very own, with room for all her games and video's.
She wasn't sure what to make of it at first, it was thinner, and had a weird case, and the icon's were different.
Another gift she received from her Oma and opa was a bubble gun, she loved it, can you see how many bubbles it makes with one press of the button.
She was so excited, she loves opening presents and totally understands it now, she new it was a special day and loved her cookies.
This was just a prelude to the real deal at her upcoming party, but we had to do something on the day. It was fun.

Those pictures are priceless. The photo of Holly lying on the floor with her I touch is just so adorable. And looking at the bubbles!
