The weekend before Holly's Birthday her Granny and Nana came to visit to help celebrate her turning 2.
We went shopping for her Birthday Present and she picked out this wonderful little Tricycle. Her favorite part was the added horn.
It is great because I can push her in it now, while she is too short to totally reach the pedals, but she will grow into it, and it is good balance to ride on it.
That evening her Granny baked a Carrot cake to celebrate. We had a ton of Yummy carrots in our veggie box, and we had to use them :-)
The frosting is so very yummy, and the cake was good too. It was fun to get to sing and have her blow out a candle.
She liked the frosting, but in general isn't a real fan of any kind of cake it seems. She picked at it for a bit though.
She had a lot of fun trying to eat it on her own, and she liked being the center of attention. it was a great pre-prelude to the upcoming festivities.
