Joshua's House

We went over to our friend Joshua's house a month or so backHe is a new big brother to little Ava and we decided to bring his Mommy a lasagna.Holly has not had an opportunity to play one on one with Joshua beforeBut our play date was amazing. She is such a little tom boyand at home in a comfortable environment with just one playmateJoshua blossomed. He was like a different kid. He and Holly ran around so much.Melissa said the behavior was typical for Joshua though I hadn't seen it before,They played ball, and chase, and ran bases, and did cars and trains and jumps.She had so much fun engaging him is rough tumbling play it was greatHe was really good with Holly too, super patient, taking turns, chasing when she wanted, gentle when she needed a break.Such a great host and the two of them totally riled each other upThey were so cute together. It was nice to visit, I think Joshua appreciated the playmateWith a new baby in the house mom had not been going out as much as she would have liked.Here the two are playing crash, one of Holly's favorite gamesHere they are playing, "Do what I do" its like Simon says.They played so hard they worked up quite the appetite.Holly enjoyed some yummy pretzel snacks.But both were getting tired and it was soon time to head home.Not before a quick jump on Mommies bed, the little monkeys.Bye Bye little Ava, it was lovely to meet you. We hope to come and play another day soon.
