Montclair Park

After music class Holly and Chloe enjoyed heading to the park to play. Montclair park is only a few blocks away and it was a great way for the girls to unwind.Mira joined us at the park which was a lot of fun. It is neat to see the girls out and playing in different environments. Chloe loves the slide and is starting to become a much more confident walker, having to navigate the sand and the steps.Chloe is just learning about the slide and here she didn't want to let go and she was on her way down, talk about a great stretch!Here Holly and Chloe are playing at the base of the slide, one of her favorite places to be. She likes to climb up and hang out swinging her legs.There was a lot of climbing to be had. The girls had fun chasing each other around and exploring the whole park.The girls also had a lot of fun playing peek-a-boo with the tubes on the play structure. Holly would go in one and they would follow her through.Here is Mira getting ready to go down the tube slide. I wish Holly could have went through the slide on her own, but she needs help to sit down on it.Mira was a dare devil and she went down head first. It was so sweet, and she had a wonderful time. Holly was waiting at the base of the slide to meet her and they were playing peek-a-boo between the top and the bottom.The girls also liked exploring the other toys, and Mira had fun rocking back and forth in the little car. Chloe was happy to accommodate.Next Holly wanted to rock Chloe on the riding airplane. They followed each other around, played int he sand and had so much fun.A day at the park of course wouldn't be the same without a ride on the swing. It is almost always Holly's favorite thing.
