So a few weeks back the media was up in arms predicting Snow in San Francisco
There was a cold front coming down from Alaska and a Rain Storm coming from the south,
If they both hit at the same time then there would have been snow at Sea level.
As it turns out the rain hit around 11 Am and the Cold at around 8 PM so it didn't snow.
Then last night with no warning it got really cold and it was raining and suddenly the rain storm turns into hail.
No, technically this is not "Snow" However, there was white ice on the ground
And since it was night time, it was sticking, for a few minutes anyways.
Holly loved watching it fall, and kept asking to go to the "Snow House" (Tahoe) I agree, it looked like snow to me too. It's the closest we will be getting in Berkeley anyway, it was one great storm.
