These are pictures from the tail end of our Tahoe Trip last DecemberOn our way home we stopped in Truckee This was there indoor play place, I can't remember the name now, there equivalent to Habitot. The girls all had so much fun playing and were happy to stretch there legs after the hour drive. It was neat visiting the local kids museum and checking out a new place.I felt like an interloper as the local mom's arrived in this oasis out of the cold and snow.Holly enjoyed dressing up and exploring. There were two very large room, one with mostly imaginative play itemsThe other had a large indoor play structure with slides and other gross motor items.I love this picture of Kathy, she looks beautiful with the flowers and that smile!
Even though they weren't real it was so neat to see the flowers so colorful in a snow filled place. It was such a contradiction to have "fresh flowers" it was really neatThese were large soft blocks, the older kids used them to build a fortThe little kids spent there time knocking them down....Such little goblin's they are! Total Trouble MakersThis was a cool bell, Holly loved ringing it.She went back over and over, she has a thing for hanging rope. This was an awesome slide, after a little coaxing the girls were eager to go down again and again.Normally Holly is not a fan of the spiral slidesBut I think that being cooped up and not going to the park for a while she was happyTo use any slide she had access too. They would go down and then climb back up it.There were puzzles and trains to play with too.Mai and Leena headed out to find some lunch for us to eat while the girls played.Amazingly they found a Panda Express right in town and brought back some yummy Chinese food. Here was a tunnel for the girls to crawl through and hide in.It was the mouth of the lion which was very coolThese play mats were really neat too. I think intended for little babiesThe girls used them to jump and crash. Here the girls are all painting and working on art projectsHolly is finding a place to climb everywhere she goes. This was a little Farm and Fruit standHolly decided instead of apples and oranges she would ride and "swing" inside instead. Its so funny how she will look for a swing wherever she can.I love this picture, the balls falling in motionThis was a neat little science area there were large bottles with colored water that you could "pour" from one to the otherThey would flow through at different speeds, she loved shaking them. Here are the mommies having some lunch. It was a nice final break before the long ride home.We had a busy week at the "Snow House" so much fun togetherHolly's is into tunnels now, she will say, "into the tunnel, out of the tunnel" as the train goes through. We had fun and then headed out for our 3 hour drive.

How amazing that you could find such a perfect place for the kids to wear themselves out before the long drive home!
