Dying Easter Eggs

This year we tried a new technique

Rather then dipping the eggs in a dye

we used these little sponges to paint them

We all had a ton of fun doing it

Holly just picked her favorite colors and went crazy

Joel on the other hand wanted to make all these patterns

He was being very detailed

We decided we could use Q-Tips like little Paint Brushes

I loved the pattern the eggs made on the plate while they were drying

Holly was concentrating so carefully

Here is one of Joel's carefully painted jobs

It was a lot of fun.

Later though it was so hard to peel and eat the eggs

We had a fun day
