Ceramics

 There is this cool little place called kids in clay where our friend Theo takes classes.  We decided to check it out and do a free preview class.  Since it was free we didn't get to paint or fire any of our pieces but Holly still had a blast on the wheel.  I was so impressed with the teachers and the way they were able to actually make bowls and cylinders with Holly's hands.  Holly had recently watched an episode of Mickey's clubhouse when they were all having an Art Show and one of those characters were doing ceramics and they made a Pyramid, Cube, and Cylinder, so Holly was determined she would make a cylinder too.  it was really cute.  The classes are expensive, 30$ for drop in, but it will be fun to try again in the fall and keep the pieces she makes.
