New Year's Day 2012

On New Year's day we attended a party at Chloe's house. All of our friends were there and it was so much fun. Holly dressed up in a New Year's dress, but of course it didn't take long before she transformed into a fairy princess. It was cool to get to play with all of Chloe's new Christmas toys and see all of the holiday decorations. It was a pot luck and the food was delicious. The kids had a great time playing in the back yard too. It was also fun to see friends that we don;t see very often. Like Ruby. She was a hoot. Since we last saw her she has really blossomed and was not as shy as before, she has a great sense of humor and was talking a lot. It is really neat watching all of the kids grow up. Sometimes you don;t notice the changes when you see each other often, but then when you see others only every few months you are reminded how much older all of them are getting. We reflected back to the party last year and so much has changed. It was so fun to ring in the New Year with great friends and we look forward to this tradition next year (Hint Hint)
