LeeLou's Birthday Party - 8/6/11

Here we are at Montclair park
Celebrating Leelou's Birthday
Wandering around the kids found a skate ramp
They decided to use it like a slide
It was really cool seeing all the toddlers running around on the ramp
It is amazing what things they will find as fun
Sometimes it is the least expected
And they are so intrigued
It is cute too how they always turn something into what they want
In this case a slide
They even found a ball to roll around
They tried climbing up the ramp themselves
But it was too slippery
Here is Mira saying Hello to the ducks on the way back to the party
Kaylee and Holly check out the snack table
This park has a cool carraige
Holly had so much fun playing with it
First she was the driver, here she is with Beck
She said she was a horse like in Cinderella who turned into the coachman
Another child at the park had this cool driving car
She was so kind to share it with the little kids
She gave several of them a turn driving around the wooden saloon
Holly waited patiently and it was finally her turn
She had a blast
She didn't even want to drive she was happy to ride
Next it was time for the pinata
Everyone got to pull a different string
And when the right one was pulled
The candy would all spill out
The pinata was being stubborn and everyone got several turns
The kids look so cute in their birthday hats
Its funny how into it Holly gets when she doesn't even really eat candy
But of course she loves collecting it
There were cool bracelets and little tidbits too
The Magic Wands were a big hit
So then they went back to the carriage
Here is Leelou the Birthday girl with a yummy lollipop

The carriage has a horse, The girls all wanted a turn
And then it was time for a princess cake
LeeLou had the most beautiful Ballerina Princess dress for the final affair
Such a big girl ready to blow out her candles
It was a beautiful and delicious cake
One of LeeLou's uncle's was making Balloon animals
They were super cool, though Holly did pop one
Everyone loved the cake and made a big chocolaty mess
Some of the kids had Balloon flowers, others swords

Later the kids all made there way to the playground

Then there was Chloe
Finally Holly, all in the tube slide
This was a really cool wiggly ladder I was amazed watching the kids climb it
First they went up and then they went down
This yellow Climber was really cool and very difficult
But they managed with just a little bit of help to get from one side to another
Why look next thing you know Holly wanders over to the swing
Oh Daddy... push me, Push me Higher!
These were some neat playground drums. This park was completely redone in the last year
All the play structures and ground cover are completely new.
I actually really like it a lot, and should remember to go there more often
Now it is Kaylee's turn on the Horsey
Holly climbed into the Carriage and the girls were all playing princess
They would each sit inside and then take a turn
Mommy had to pretend to play a trumpet
And then one by one announce each one was presented for the Royal Ball
Here is Eli and his Mommy saying goodbye
The party was winding down now
The girls have a way of lingering
Five more minutes, one more time
The balloons were wands
Then they were swords
I think this is Holly's Third
Here she is pretending she fell asleep at the stroke of Midnight
Then we were the last hanger on's
Holly was refusing to leave, she was having too much fun
So Daddy had to take control of the situation, the little tickle bug didn't mind though!
