Playgroup Holiday Party

So here we are at another Gymnastics StudioSomewhere near the South bay, like Fremontish area.It was our first time and it was pretty neat. This is where one of my Mom's groups held there holiday Party. It was so full of activities and ended up being a ton of fun.First was simply open play at the Gymnastics Studio Itself. This was of course Holly's Favorite part. There was later a book gift exchange, which was a lot of fun for her to open a present. Then there was also a cookie exchange.I brought in 2 dozen cookies and got to pick and choose 24 cookies from everyone else to bring home. Then there was the potluck dinner which was very yummy. We brought Tuna Noodles, a favorite of mine as the kids gobble it up.Holly was obsessed with this rope swing. There was about two hours of open play and she spent most of the time on this swing.I think she liked that it both swung and spun at the same time. She also liked that she could touch her tipy toes to the ground and push herself too.I was excited to get her to take the slide rideRight down into the foam pit.Not something she always is eager to try out when we have been at other places. Then there was the Ginger Bread Houses. Since we didn't make one at the play date we hostedI was excited to make one at this event, and after two hours of running and swinging, Holly was actually ready to sit and focus on a tabletop activityShe actually decorated the entire house herself. I built it and put it int he fridge and she did everything else, it was a lot of fun.
