Gelato - Good to the last Drop

So it has actually been a while since we went out to eat with Holly. But this weekend we ended up leaving something at 5:00 and it was perfect timing to go to an early dinner and still get Holly home for bed around 7:30. We even stayed for dessert. They had Gelato, and Holly loved it.

Knight in Shinning Armor

So Holly saw this costume at Costco and fell in love. She insisted that she wanted to be a knight in shinning armor for Halloween. I asked her, Don;t you want to be Rapunzel, and she said yes but that's for Trick or Treating at Mimi's house I can dress up at school too. So I got it for her. Now of course she says she will wear it for dress-up but she wants to be Tinkerbell at school. Go Figure! it is a nice costume for dress-up though, and I haven;t given up on getting her to wear it out.

Hanging with Lucian

Here we are over at Lucian's house for one of our all afternoon/evening Epic Sunday Play dates.  It starts with snacks and goes until dinner and bath time.  But first it was the mac and cheese, then it was playtime.  Music and sword fighting, tents and tunnels.  Then it was time to make some yummy chocolate milk.  A little playtime with Baby Avery and then dinner for the Mommies and Daddys.  Finally we gave the kids a fun bath, Lucian has the best water toys, all kinds of fun pouring things that we don't have.  The kids got into there Pajamas and then they got to watch a movie.  It was a fun night and we got to spend the day with our friends, talking, chatting, catching up.  We really don;t get to do this often enough.

Waffles

Here we are over at Mira's house with Kaylee.  The girls are having breakfast for lunch.  Yummy yummy waffles.  But of course its all about play play play.  I love that now that the kids are older they can literally play in Mira's room for like an hour while we three mommies simply snack on waffles in the kitchen and chat over tea and coffee.  It is fun for everyone all around.

Shopping at Micheals with Sara

Here is Holly and Sara having a quick little play date at Micheals.  We were shopping for a fun and crafty Birthday present, though as usual I ended up spending just as much on Holly as I did on her friend.  There were just too many fun art projects to leave behind.

Ping Pong with Tyler

Here we are over at our weekly play date with Tyler.  It was a HOT HOT day.  So the kids spent some time playing downstairs.  From a party on another day Holly had discovered the Ping Pong table and now she is kind of obsessed with it.  She wants to play all the time.  First Holly and Tyler play this game called Bunny Hop, its super cute, but eventually they get too hop and make there way downstairs and make an attempt to play ping ping but really its mostly running after the ball and tossing it back and forth together.  So adorable.

Quick Lunch with Friends

Here we are over at Chloe's house for a quick lunch.  We stopped by after our Swim class and before Chloe's dance class.  When you have busy toddlers you fit in time with friends when you can.  Sometimes 90 minutes with a friend is all you need to reconnect until another playdate in another week.
